"I don't know if we have a "specific moment we knew". Our love story is pretty unconventional. Six months before we met, Jake lost his hearing and was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease. With his health situation, our relationship got serious pretty quick, and the journey didn't stop there. We've faced countless challenges together—including his life changing surgery, moving across the world and back, living with Jake's family during the pandemic—and we've always come out the other side together. We're best friends. The real question was: "Why wouldn't we want to spend the rest of our lives together?""

"Beyond lucky! We recognize our wedding was a once in a lifetime experience where we got to share our love with our closest humans. And their love for us is next level. Every person in attendance went out of their way to travel to one of the most beautiful places on the planet to watch us say "I do". Our parents were angels who let us steer all the planning and decision making, so we could have the wedding of our dreams. Considering the journey it took to get there, both individual and together, it made our wedding experience even more meaningful."
