A little about me...

Hello! My name is Stephanie. I am a 2024 bride who is originally from NYC but lives in Miami with my husband. Miami holds a special place in my heart because I went to college in this city and I am obsessed with sunshine and being close to the ocean! I work in the finance industry, and in my free time, I love to exercise by doing workout classes like Barry’s Bootcamp, taking long walks while drinking iced coffee, trying new restaurants with my husband, cooking, and travelling! My favourite places I have ever travelled to are Kenya and Tanzania. I got to do an amazing safari in these beautiful countries for my honeymoon.

Our approach to planning the wedding was…

Remain calm and carry on. Planning a wedding comes with many challenges, but we took it one day at a time, remained calm, did a site visit, and tried to enjoy the process as much as possible! Also, hire good vendors and then trust them to do the work! You hired them for a reason!

The most unexpected part of the day was.

THE RAIN! Jamaica has a tropical climate so it was down pouring the whole day leading up to our wedding. We had plans to take photos outside and have the reception outside, but we had to make some spontaneous changes! Regardless, just in time for our ceremony, the sun came out and the sky was beautiful.

When I look back on the day now I feel….

Nostalgic. I wish I could relive this day over and over again. Best day of my life! 

A word of advice to new brides would be…

You can’t control everything, even though you will try to. Sometimes unexpected things happen, and you have to go with the flow. Enjoy every minute, even the stressful ones, because it goes so fast.
