I’m Jorjana and I grew up and still live on the Gold Coast. On 30.05.26 I married my husband Fin at the beautiful Braeside Estate. It truly was the most incredible day, surrounded by the people we love most.

We wanted our wedding to feel elegant and intimate with a beautiful black-tie atmosphere. More than anything, we wanted the day to be filled with laughter, love, genuine happiness, and creating memories with our family and friends that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

Made a conscious effort to be present with each other because the day really does go by so quickly. Having a sweetheart table during our reception gave us the chance to share our favourite moments from before the ceremony, soak it all in together and look around at all the people who mean the most to us. Those quiet moments together became some of our favourite memories.
The most unexpected part of the day was…
How effortlessly everything came together. After months of planning, we were able to completely let go and simply enjoy every moment. The incredible team at Braeside Estate had everything so beautifully organised that we never had to worry about a thing, they made sure the day flowed seamlessly and most importantly that we were having the best time.
When I look back now, I feel…
An overwhelming sense of gratitude. It was everything we had dreamed of and more. I wish we could relive it all over again but I feel so lucky to have the memories, photos and videos to look back on forever.
My advice to new brides…
Enjoy every step of the journey because it really does fly by. Don’t get caught up chasing perfection, the little imperfections often become the moments you cherish the most. Take a deep breath, soak it all in, spend time with your husband and trust that everything will come together exactly as it’s meant to.
My Homebodii moment was special because…
Getting ready with my bridesmaids and my mum was one of the most special parts of the entire day. Sharing those moments together, filled with laughter and so much excitement is something I’ll never forget. Feeling comfortable in my Homebodii pieces made those memories even more special. Looking back at those photos instantly takes me back to the butterflies I felt before walking down the aisle.
