 I live in sunny Perth and love nothing more than coastal walks with my husband and our dog, Freddie whilst having afternoon bbqs with our friends.

When we first envisioned our wedding day, we hoped for lots of laughter with family and friends, and above all, a genuine feeling of happiness and beautiful memories we could hold on to forever.

The most unexpected part of the day was…

On the morning of the wedding, when one of my bridesmaids had a last minute change of heart about her dress. Cue her running down High Street to find a new blue dress just hours before the ceremony!

When I look back now, I feel…

Nothing but happiness when I think about our wedding day. It truly was the best day of my life and holds such a special place in my heart. The biggest thing I remember is how much my cheeks hurt from smiling all day long.

My advice to new brides is…

To really enjoy and soak up every special moment. Getting ready with my closest girlfriends, including my amazing mum and sister and having our hair and makeup done together with great music and good vibes,  was one of the highlights of the entire day. It’s such a rare and precious occasion to share that time together.
