A little bit about me…

I am a Massachusetts native but have been living in Florida for 10 years now. I just finished my doctorate in Nurse Anesthesiology and will be starting this new chapter as a wife and a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Outside of my life in scrubs, I have always had a passion for dance and more recently fashion and traveling, hence our destination wedding!

To invest in the best wedding planners possible. We did exactly that, and it was the BEST decision we ever made. Had a destination wedding! When we got on the plane, about a week before our wedding, all the work was done. Each and every guest, including ourselves, were on vacation mode! I felt more like a guest than a host during our wedding weekend.

The most unexpected part of the day was…

Nothing! The day was truly better than I could have dreamed. Everything went exactly as we had planned, although seeing our wedding venue for the first time on the wedding day was wild!

When I look back now, I feel…

Grateful. Grateful for our family and friends who traveled so far to be there for our special day. Grateful for our parents and my husband for making it all possible. 

My advice to new brides…

Delegate as much as possible so that you can be truly present for every moment (including the days leading up to your wedding)!
